Due to a change in the contractor’s schedule, the lane closure scheduled on Route 23 (Valley Forge Road), for utility work, will be rescheduled to February 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The lane closure with flagging will be in place weekdays until late-March. The press release below reflects the change. Route 23 weekday lane closure begins TODAY

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning a single lane closure with flagging on Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Moorehall Drive and Country Club Road in Schuylkill Township, Chester County, beginning Wednesday, February 17, for gas main installation, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The lane closure will be in place weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through late-March. 

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent. 

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
