Julie Halpin, PA-C, MPAS, started at Dermatology Associates in 2003 with two previous years of dermatology experience. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Saint Joseph's University and then went on to earn her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University. Julie is a nationally certified Physician Assistant who is a member of AAPA, NCCPA, and SDPA.
The close-knit environment at Dermatology Associates allows Julie to interact with her patients and build strong relationships with them. She treats both adult and pediatric patients encompassing a wide variety of dermatological concerns, including but not limited to: mole and skin cancer checks, acne, rosacea, warts, eczema, and psoriasis. Julie's focus is on patient education, where she strives to provide patients with comprehensive, well-informed care.
Cara Cohen, PA-C, MPAS, has been practicing Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology since 2004. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia University.
Cara is an NCCPA nationally board-certified physician assistant. She is a Certified Aesthetic Laser Operator and a member of National Council on Laser Certification. She holds a Certificate of Laser Training in Aesthetic Laser and Light based office procedures. She is also a fellow member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. She continues to actively pursue advanced training in cosmetic and medical dermatology.
"Creating a better and softer version of you" is Cara's motto when approaching a cosmetic patient. Cara's area of expertise include, but are not limited to, general Medical Dermatology (mole checks, skin cancer screenings, surgical treatment of skin cancers, acne, psoriasis, eczema, warts, and molluscum), aesthetic skin rejuvenation, neurotoxins (i.e. Botox), injectable fillers (Juvederm, Voluma, Belotero, Radiesse, Restylane, and Sculptra), chemical peels, laser hair removal, fractional laser treatments, intense pulsed light treatments, and product knowledge for dermatological conditions such as acne and reversing the signs of aging.

Sharon Zellis, D.O. is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at Abington Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. This was followed by a year of clinical research in Dermatology at Buffalo General Hospital. She completed a dermatology residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine and dermatology.
Dr. Zellis is committed to delivering the highest quality of dermatological care in a compassionate and respectful manner. She has over 15 years of experience in dermatology with a special interest in skin cancer prevention and detection, pediatric and adolescent dermatology, pigment disorders, eczema, psoriasis, and aging skin. Dr. Zellis enjoys seeing multi-generational family members and servicing all their dermatological needs.
Peter Motel, M.D. received his medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Einstein Medical Center and in Dermatology at Jefferson University. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology, and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He served four years as a physician in the United States Air Force after which he started Dermatology Associates of Phoenixville and Valley Forge. He has been in the private practice of Dermatology since 1993. He grew up locally, is a graduate of Conestoga High School, and lives in Berwyn with his wife and three children.
His areas of professional interest are skin cancer detection and treatment, treatment of eczema, treatment of psoriasis including biologics, and all aspects of general dermatology. Dr. Motel sees patients of all ages and conditions. Dr. Motel also treats problematic spider veins of the legs.
